I, Joshua Nowell Sadlier-Brown, was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. I moved to Boston to attend Berklee College of Music. After College I moved to Brooklyn, where I found out
nobody cares if you attended Berklee College of Music; In fact, most seem to prefer you hadn’t. That said, Berklee was good experience for me. It is where I met some of my favourite musical friends. Also, I learned how to commit to tape lots of really fast notes. To this day, I haven’t met anyone who can play so fast that I can’t record it -- with the exception of the cheeky ones who start before I am ready.Since moving to New York my ongoing association with Integrated Studios has given me the opportunity to work with some really exciting and talented artists. Such as: 50 Cent/G-Unit, John Legend, Junior Sanchez, Mos Def, Ms. Lauren Hill, Mark Roson, Gogol Bordello, Eddie Kramer, Ludacris, Chuck Brody, Ted Leo, The Five O’Clock Heroes, Swizz Beats, Carlos Bess and others.
Integrated Studios has
afforded me the opportunity to work as a producer and composer, in the burgeoning field of “the rock and roll” and, the allegedly lucrative style of, “music for TV commercials”. Additionally, I’ve taken to wearing bow ties in pictures. In conclusion if you are in, or know of, a band who plays “the popular music” -- or preferably “the music for TV commercials” and think that I might be able to assist you in some way; or if you just want to... you know... talk about, hockey, or food. or whatever, please use the contact form that I painstakingly web designed for little to no pay.
Sincerely,
Mr. Joshua Nowell Sadlier-Brown.
